  Press Report
  Over the last years, a variety of independent press reports have covered CCRR and its work. Moreover, CCRR itself actively promotes the value of non-violence through editorials and commentaries in Palestinian newspapers and magazines, thereby contributing to the strengthening of civil society.

CCRR has press coverage in the Palestinian media, like in the Al-Quds or Jerusa­lem Times newspapers. Regional newspapers and magazines like Ha'aretz or the Jerusalem Report also run pieces on the organization. On the international level, the Center managed to make its voice for non-violence heard through reports and several radio interviews giving an international audience first hand information on the Palestinian Peace Movement. The following exem­plary press reports and commentaries should illustrate our work.

Al Quds, 07.01.2004: "Democracy is not about good and evil"                                                                                  

  The article argues that democratic values are universal, and applicable in Pales­tine. Even if democratic countries put pressure on  Palestine that Palestinians might feel to be unjust and evil, it is the Palestin­ian duty to build a democracy, and to build it on universally good democratic values. 

 

Al-Quds, 19.11.2003: "The success of the Palestinian Government depends on the Palestinian Government."

The article argues that though the peace process is in
complete stalemate,the Palestinian government has to
start seriously tackling internal reforms in the Pales­tinian community.
