CCRR
held the concluding conference for the Women and Conflict Management
project at the Shepherd Hotel in Bethlehem. It was attended by the
Center's director, Dr. Noah Salameh, the staff, and representatives of
the fifteen organizations who participated in the project from Hebron,
Jericho, Nablus and Bethlehem. The project targeted fifteen women and
girls from each organization and they received twenty hours of training
over four days. They learned about conflict and its impact on the lives
of women, including each woman specifically. They were shown how to
manage conflict and gain skills to encourage them to alleviate the
pressures they face. The project also aimed to establish communication
between the various women's organizations as well as CCRR. Samia Sutria
welcomed the participants, followed by the national anthem and a moment
of silence for the souls of the martyrs. Dr. Noah Salameh welcomed
those in attendance and thanked everyone who participated. He
emphasized the importance of the project in strengthening and empowering
women, giving them the necessary tools for communication in realistic
situations to strengthen their families. He also praised the role of
women who give so much for her land and her sons, but do not achieve
appropriate access to the highest positions. More speeches were made by

Center), Kefaya Azem (Sabastia Center), Abeer Badaren (Samo Center),
