Peace Education Project

The aim of the Young Negotiator Program is to provide the Palestinian youth and educators with values of peace, non-violence, human rights, democracy and tools for non-violent conflict resolution. At the same time, the action aims to provide a safe environment for critical discussion on subjects concerning the political situation, such as the future of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, a Palestinian state, borders, refugees, settlements, etc. The target group is Palestinian youth (age 15 to 16) and their educators from different towns and villages, especially remote areas, throughout West Bank. During 2006/2007 we held workshops in 40 schools for teachers, counselors, and students. It included a variety of interactive activities, providing new tools and offering critical discussion.
