Kidnappings in Iraq

CCRR strongly condemns the kidnapping of the 4 activities from CPT. CPT members are not part of the occupation force, but they have come to Iraq to document and reduce human rights violations, especially against prisoners. 

 CPT has a long tradition of supporting suppressed people, in   Palestine. They are struggling with us against the occupation and support Palestinian cause and all justice causes.

Their cause is just and important, and the last thing we want is to stop people join teams such as the CPT because of the personal danger they expose themselves to.

  We have to welcome those who fight with us and support us and not harm them! 

In this sense, we ask all our friends to do anything in their power to get the four released as quickly as possible.
