as he (Sharon) cant even justify it to his own people, or admit it, this in it self is a side of power to the Palestinian people, that defends clear principles, which is his right of freedom, independence, equality, the respect of human rights, and stopping house demolition, and collective punishments, but how can the Palestinian people use this moral power that he owns, if they don’t use a nonviolent method, which is based originally on human morals and principles, while the morals and principles of a single person who believes of nonviolence, uses it, and live by it is different than the morals and principles of another who believe of violence, like the occupation, weapons, and murdering of children. The issue here is a conflict between these two methods of living, between the different principles of the human, between two different philosophies, and way of thinking which are completely different from each other. It is a modern conflict, while the most modern is the one who do not uses violence, and not the one who owns the stronger military forces, or has the largest power to harm the other, by killing and destructions machines, but the one who has human values more, the one who cares for the human, and respect the humanity of the single member with no matter of his/her nationality, color, religion, nation, race, strength, or wealth. It is a conflict of values between the values of evil and good, represented by nonviolence, love of people, respect of humans, and achieving justice among them, and this is not an easy thing to do as most people think, because the declaration of a human that he is a nonviolent person means in reality that he/she became so, for a human being to become nonviolent, and a believer of the mission of nonviolence means he/she must work for it first with himself, and change his values, attitude, and morals, not to harm any one, to love the good of all people and commit him/her self for struggling nonviolently for that. This agrees with the saying: “those who do not take, do not give”, because if some of us doesn’t own the values of nonviolence, respect of others, and dealing with each others respectfully, he/she cannot teach other people that, or to demand them to work for that, it also agrees with the old Arabic poet saying what it means: do not forbid someone to do something then do it your self, this would be a great shame that will fall upon you...... | ||||||||||
